Uniform

It is the policy of St Ambrose Barlow Catholic Primary school that all children will wear our agreed uniform each day.  This fosters a feeling of belonging to our community, and helps children feel equal to each other. 

Boys:

Bottle green v-neck jumper with school badge

White polo shirt (No badge required)

Grey trousers or shorts

Girls:

Bottle green cardigan or v-neck jumper with school badge

White polo shirt (No badge required)

Grey skirt, grey pinafore, grey trousers or shorts

Summer dress (green and white check)

Footwear:

Flat, plain black shoes or trainers

PE kit:

White T-shirt with bottle green sleeves and school badge

Grey track suit bottoms

Indoor black pumps

Outdoor trainers

Bottle green hoodie with school badge

Jewellery:

Earrings and other types of jewellery are not permitted
Jewellery is any form of adornment to the body, which is not clothing.
Make-up and nail varnish may not be worn to school.

Hairstyles:

Shaved lines or designs of any kind are not permitted. Hair dye, including bleaching and highlights, is not allowed during term time.

A book bag is given to each child when they start in reception class.  Alternatively children may use a bag of their own choice however parents/carers are requested not to send large backpacks into school due to the storage space available.

We are now selling many items of pre-owned uniform on the Uniformd Marketplace. All funds raised go straight back into school.
